Friendly staff, we stayed an extra night due to a storm, the staff was very helpful. Washrooms were very nice. If you're a birder there are tons of birds. �� percent recommend staying here.

The grounds and bathrooms are just beautiful! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lovely dog areas and walk areas around campgrounds. Our favorite of our 27 day trip! Keep up the good work!

Amazing helpful and friendly—from local wine recommendations to a great restaurant in town. The sites were great with lots of trees and a nice dog run. Facilities were spotless. Well done!

After a long day of travel we pulled into the Mitchell KOA. It was such a refreshing experience. The facilities were very well maintained and clean. The bathrooms and showers, excellent. The staff was very friendly and offered ideas on where to get a great meal in Mitchell. We would recommend this KOA 100%.

O my goodness! This is a very special KOA. Super friendly and helpful staff! Clean, organized, well kept. It’s no wonder why they’ve won so many KOA awards. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed and they have the cutest camp store with just enough stuff to complete your trip if you forgotten anything. Oh, and if you’re into bathrooms with showers, this place will blow you away. It’s beaut

Nice staff, very warm and friendly. Grounds are beautiful with the lilac bushes! Bathrooms are modern and very clean. One suggestion, when leaving our campsite we had difficulty finding the dump station. Roads within the campgrounds are not marked well.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Campground was clean and quiet. The tornado shelters are a great plus, something I've never seen at other campgrounds.

WOW! Absolutely the best overnight experience ever and I’ve stayed at a lot of KOAs! Immaculately kept, beautiful trees, convenient to the interstate but far enough where you can’t hear it. But my favorite part……just before sunset, the manager and one of the staff reverently lowered the American flag, folded it properly and carried it inside. As a veteran it brought tears to my eyes. A+ all the way. Super friendly owners and staff. Emaculatly clean. Love that they care enough to install tornado shelters for their guests just in case. In the top 2 or 3 KOAs we've been to.

Stayed in a cabin. Spotless cabin. Cozy, nice, had a fridge. Owners and staff all extremely friendly and engaging. Stores just a few miles down the road if needed (grocery, Walmart, etc). Would stay again

Very nice KOA. Overnight only, but had time after setup to see the Corn Palace (very coo), and dinner/beer at the 'railroad' Depot a couple miles down the road.

Well maintained KOA with excellent staff. Park is quiet, and has a nice walking trail. Lots are level, and the Wi-Fi is functional.

My group ended up having to tent camp here for a couple nights because we were having some van issues, but it ended up being one of the best campgrounds we stayed at on the entire trip. The couple that run the KOA are wonderful people who made my day whenever I talked to them, and the store has everything you could possibly need. This was my first ever KOA experience and none of the other ones I've stayed at have lived up to this one. Absolutely recommend this KOA to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.
