This has been the funnest and cleanest KOA that i have been to. I love all of the kid activities my 5 year old got to participate in. All of the employees were friendly and very helpful. I love the vibe this place gives off. Playground, pool, hot tub, tiki bar and had a beach access!!! 10/10 recommend to family and friends!

We had a great site and a wonderful stay at the Cape Hatteras KOA. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Loved that staff was always driving around the campground. Would definitely go back again!

Our daughter had so much fun with all the kids activities. Absolutely loved the fun train. The beach could be cleaned up, there was some trash. Also the seasonal or worker’s campers were a bit run down. Sites were small. Pool was amazing. Beautiful registration building.

Only a handful of sites have sewer hookups and they charge $20 per tank (emptying black requires a gray so $40). Our site did not have sewer hookups so we paid to have1 black and 1 gray tanks emptied. The black tank was still �  full (I looked down the toilet to verify) and they refused to come finish the job. Very disappointed with customer service at Cape Hatteras.

Our stay was wonderful! Our granddaughter had a blast! The staff was very professional and polite! We always love going to KOA Hatteras!

wow! A fantastic stay at the KOA. We had site 301 which was across from the bath house and entrance to the fabulous beach. Campground is quiet at night, The Office staff are friendly and helpful. Good spacing between each site. For the kids, there was the pool, daily activities and the jumping pillow and, again, the fabulous beach. Beautiful sunsets on the Sound side!

The only things I didn’t like was site 100 was not even near level and I had to empty black/gray tanks uphill (what a pain that is). Last, there seemed to be quite a bit of small pieces of garbage around the campground, I pick up some around our site and the site between us and the other campsite once those folks pulled out. Other than those things, the campground was good. We’ll be back.

Cabins are small but we made it work. The grounds were clean and everyone was friendly. We had a slew of random issues: 1 was no hot water which they resolved 2 was mold in the coffee maker which they replaced. I like that they do kids events but wish they had a few more each day and was very disappointed by the $40pass for the kids bc we bought it without knowing each event isn’t offered each d

The amenities are perfect for anyone with kids. We were right on the beach, and out teenagers spent hours on the many different activities offered.

Great experience. Access to the beach and plenty of things to do in the area. Site was level and not too close to my neighbors. We we stay here again.

We had an amazing time. The only issue I had was the pirate pass. We came in on Thursday. I purchased it on Friday BUT no one told me that a bunch of the items were already done and wouldn't be happening again before we left Tuesday morning and there were no substitutes, so I felt like I was screwed out of money.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Weather is somewhat unpredictable, but not KOA's fault! Beautiful pool, hot tub, and beach. A little pricey, but the location is excellent.

Had multiple issues and am waiting on the response from the General Manager. The major issue was that we stayed in the most expensive location and had no Wi-Fi during bad weather (5 of 7 Days)

Pretty good spot. Price is high for the quality of the park. Disappointed that our favorite site is turning into a dog spot which costs even more! Site 218 needs a load of gravel in the mud hole in the middle by the way.

It was a great stay other than having a hard time to get into campspace and having a Karen for a neighbor. You should be able to pick your lot at booking, and not get a bad spot because of not getting your choice of lot. Bathrooms do need to be cleaned more frequently, especially on holiday weekends. The ladies bathroom near the beach access was horrible. Never clean.

We absolutely loved our stay!! Sorry we could not stay longer. The back shower house and rest rooms were a little HOT and uncomfortable. Not as nice as the bigger bath house. But we still enjoyed the stay. Nice campground and very considerate staff workers.

It was my first time visiting and the campsite exceeded my expectations. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I thought the campsites were a little close but that insured we met our neighbors. Everything was wonderful and I plan to revisit soon.

Memorial Day weekend-beautiful place, beautiful people! Great amenities and our pup had a blast in his personal pen! Pool is always a hit w/the kids & the glow train was awesome! Thank YOU!!!!

KOA/Cape Hatteras is the place to stay. You cannot beat the location with the fabulous beach on one side and the gorgeous sunsets on the Sound side. Campground quiet at night. KOA Staff friendly and helpful.

This place is incredible! Every KOA person we encountered was sweet and cheery, so helpful. It's so clean, so resorty...They've thought of it all. There are so many thoughtful events planned, especially for the kids, I felt like there was always a cool event happening. We did the glow train, and it was a busy weekend so it could have been a mess waiting for the train, but they gave the kids glow sticks and Betsey from KOA did "crowdwork," talking to all the kids in line. The people who run all the activities are just so in tune with what's happening. Like really hosting. My 8 yr old got teary at the end of the night and 2 separate employees came and checkef on him to cheer him up. Also, a guy nicknamed Mack that I talked to was really fun and really got the kids hyped for everything. We did a treasure hunt, foam party, glow train, and there was more we could have done if we'd made the time! Loved this place, we are already planning our next visit and I'm not even home yet. My daughter said it was the BEST weekend of her LIFE💓. And she's a tough kid to please 🤣Thank you to everyone there who I encountered, you obviously love what you do and care so much about making people have an awesome visit ❤️

We almost canceled our trip going off the reviews for this place but so glad we didn't. My only complaint is the camping cabin we stayed in needed some work, but appears they are working on them already. We had an absolute blast. Pool was great. And hot tub was amazing. Showers were as clean as they could be with the amount of people using them. Tina's poolside cafe was great for breakfast. This will be our yearly family vacation. Thank you cape Hatteras koa for making our fist trip to OBX spectacular! Chappell family.
