Naples / Marco Island KOAMeet Your Host A desire to get out of the corporate world of management led Ted and Anita Mangels, managers of the Naples KOA in Florida, to enter into the campground business. After traveling for four months and talking to work campers at various KOAs, the Mangels decided that managing a KOA campground seemed like an ideal lifestyle. They began working at assistant managers for the Naples KOA in the fall of 2004, and interim managers in the summer of 2005. In August of 2005, they moved on to manage the Louisville South KOA. In March of 2006, they traveled to Mystic Connecticut to begin managing the KOA there. They have now come full circle, and are currently managing the Naples KOA. "We bend over backwards to make our campers happy," says Ted. "We offer games, amenities, and entertainment for them." Ted and Anita manage the campground with a personal touch, being the first to greet the campers when they pull into the campground and treating the campers like family. When not busy working on the campground, Ted and Anita can be found saltwater fishing, camping, sketching, traveling, or doing some photography. Come meet Ted and Anita Mangels. |
