Desk Associates are very nice and accommodating However the site is an Ant Haven and when the Ants aren’t trying to get in., the sand and mud do. Sites are not maintained with gravel , if so we wouldn’t have Ants and mud. Ran Cery nicely with that exception!

Need better signage to the location from the highway. Garmin knew where you were at, but not how to get there (except through the trees). Golf cart driver asked me to make a u turn and then turn the wrong way into my site. All I had to do was loop around and enter the site properly.

Our stay was good, even with rain. We did have issues w/internet connection (wifi) even for basic internet/email- it would drop connection. Nice store renovation. Hopefully better wifi and cable tv hookups will be next!! At checkin, 1 lady was learning and Phoenix was helping, but she was abrupt, annoyed that I was familiar with location's parking and site location. Staff is usually SO nic

This KOA is very well maintained. Although it is close to a highway, the stay was relatively quiet. The only complaint I would have is that the sites and internal roads are in need of gravel. The staff were very friendly. On our next visit to the area, we will definitely consider staying here again!

All facilities were clean and nice. Unfortunately the deluxe cabin requires a two night minimum so even though the campground had almost every cabin available we couldn't stay there. I would recommend as a family friendly place to stay.

Good location for getting to train into DC Friendly staff Only thing they clean facilities during prime time when you wanted to get ready. 099-1200 should not be cleaning time Most places it is early afternoon which makes more sense

We loved our stay. We arrived late and still were escorted to our site. A great locations as a home base while visiting Washington and Annapolis. We also took in the Sheep & Wool festival and even though a rained that day we still enjoyed our time at you KOA.

This is a wonderful, quiet, clean campground. They were very friendly and helpful. The pool wasn’t open yet when we were there but it was only the beginning of May.

Fabulous. Beautiful grounds. Nicely updated gardens, bathrooms, store (last we were there it was closed). Quick repairs when we called. Fire wood delivered in a heartbeat, ok <20 minutes. Friendly staff. Quiet.

We've been camping at Capitol KOA for years and long ago we use to stay in a tent. One weekend it was raining real hard when we arrived and didn't want to set-up in the rain, so we rented a one room cabin. We have been using the camping cabins for over ten years until this year when we made another move. We rented the Deluxe Cabin with Full Bath & Shower. Great Move! Thanks KOA! Great Staff!

Clean site, nice amenities. Craft class for kids on Saturday which our granddaughter loved. The refreshed camp store is very nice with great selection. We had a great time.

The KOA was PERFECT for our scout Troop needs. The scouts tented in the meadow while the leaders enjoyed the cabins, which were wonderful. The pavilion was great - especially since we could store the trailer with our cooking gear down there.

I was blessed with them staying a little bit later than 6pm which is closing time to get me checked in. Adding a second vehicle was easy and cheap. Tent site is nice, but small for anything bigger than a backpacking tent, 4-6 person tents will likely not fit. So I put it on the sticks to the right of the fire pit. Bring a 25-50 foot power cord if you want to use electricity.

The park is beautiful. The staff is amazing. It is appreciated the way they always made sure the campground was clean and neat.

This is a great campground, however, the spot we were in was difficult at best. It was a pull through site across from the laundry/restroom. In order to get in or out you had to go over a curb. It was evident from all the scrapes on the curb that it had caused a lot of damage to trailer bumpers. We ended up having to back out around two trees and a cabin in order to avoid the curb.

Great place for us to stop for the night on this trip, but we will definitely come back when we're doing a trip to tour D.C. Nice people, and level sites.

La situation géographique est parfaite pour visiter les grandes villes aux alentours et le service est excellent. On s’est senties en confiance, car même si nous allions arriver tard après la fermeture des bureaux, nous avions toutes les informations et l’accès au site.

We visited Washington DC during the Cherry Blossom Festival and stayed at the Washington DC / Capitol KOA Holiday campground. It rained every single day during our trip but it didn't dampen our spirits(pun intended). The KOA has a giant chess board, playground, ping pong table and pool near the main entrance. We stayed near the camp store and were a little concerned about noise/traffic. I will happily report that we didn't experience any of that. As I mentioned earlier, it was very rainy and we only took 1 picture of our site #6 which didn't flood. There is a dog park which my puppies were happy to play in (between rain storms). I would recommend checking out the camp store as they have so many cute items to help commemorate your visit as well as items you may have run out of or forgot. I would love to go back and visit during a dryer time.

We only to spend a few days visiting Washington DCstayed one noght as we were traveling through the area, but its in a perfect location to spend a few days visitng Washington DC.
